I met Dr. Wraith in England in the winter of 1992. He was my son, David's physician who became a great family friend and later played one of the most supportive and significant roles in the establishment of the Taiwan MPS Society.
He has visited Taiwan over 6 times these past 21 years and won the hearts of the parents here with his professional knowledge yet modest attitude. He'd kindly answer all of our inquiries and get rid of all our doubts. The Taiwanese MPS children are truly blessed to have been under such great care.
The sudden news of Dr. Wraith's death shocked us all. And we send our condolences and prayers from miles away to his wife Sue and his family.
I send with this eulogy the hand scripts of the two pieces of preface Dr. Wraith wrote for my book. Let us all yearn for our great loss of a doctor that dedicated his life to all the MPS children around the world.
